3.1 fixed the reason Home-Screen widgets were empty for almost everyone — the App Group identifier that lets the app and its widgets share data is unique across every Apple developer account, so a copy signed with your own Apple ID is issued a different one and the app was still writing to the name it was compiled with. That release stopped hardcoding the name and went looking for it instead, but it could only look for names it had been told to expect, which meant guessing at how Sideloadly, AltStore and SideStore each construct one. This release removes the guess. A tool that renames the group must request a provisioning profile for the new name, and that profile is shipped inside the app it signs, so Octave now reads the granted identifier directly out of it and both halves agree no matter what the tool chose. The guesses are kept only as a fallback for builds that carry no profile at all, where the original name is already the right answer. Nothing else changed: where the signature grants no App Group whatsoever, Top Charts, Discover and Live Radio still load from our servers instead of rendering blank, and the three that read your library still say what is actually wrong rather than telling you to open an app that would change nothing.
