A repair release built from what people actually reported. Playlists and albums scroll properly again — a drag that began on a song was being taken by the row rather than the list, so it neither swiped nor scrolled and only the very edge of the screen worked. Long playlists stopped stuttering: every frame of a scroll was rebuilding the entire track list, and on a big playlist the queue was being rebuilt once per visible row on top of that. Search filters return results — setting any duration or tempo filter previously returned nothing for every query, including exact titles. Downloads work on a fresh install, where the first ones were being built before the playback key arrived, rejected, and never retried. Songs resolve to the right album instead of whichever pressing was listed first, which was often a live cut or a greatest-hits disc, and a cold track can no longer spend half a minute hunting for a source. Imports now tell you exactly which songs couldn't be found, as a list you can copy, and a Spotify link that Spotify refuses to share with apps says so plainly instead of claiming the playlist is empty. New: Your Mix, built from everything you listen to and seeded with music you haven't heard yet; Apple's full hand-ranked Top Songs and Essentials playlists on artist pages; cinematic artist videos with the page colour taken from the clip; suggested songs at the end of a playlist; and sorting a playlist by title, artist, album or date added without touching your own order.
